YD Woodwork was founded in 1985 by Yoel Dweck, whose passion for woodworking began with building one-of-a-kind pieces—including a fully hand-crafted wooden guitar. What started as a love for craftsmanship evolved into a boutique cabinetry business rooted in precision, creativity, and integrity.
A family-owned business, YD Designs is so much more than a custom cabinet company. Over 35 years of combined experience, what we do is a craft—an art form that has been passed down from generation to generation with meticulously perfected techniques and carefully selected materials. In the past 30 years, we have built a distinguished reputation throughout the tri-state area (and more recently, worldwide) for producing some of the highest quality cabinetry in the industry.
